The RONIN Mobile ISR Platform is a kit of hardware, software and accessories purpose built to bring ISR video and assets direct to a dismounted operator. The RONIN Platform enables an ethernet radio connection for any software running on the device including ATAK, APASS, Killswitch or simple UDP video players.
RONIN users have an increased perception of their surroundings and true situational awareness because they share a common operating picture. This leads to enhanced decision-making and improvements in operational efficiency as the data, location and status that matters to them is literally at their fingertips.
RONIN connects users with data to create a common operating picture. A COP means that all users share the same view of their surroundings – from the location of team members to the presence of sensor data such as video feeds. Individuals can share what they observe with one another by publishing data such as an event, a point of interest or communication.
RONIN does not require a server to connect users. In this headless configuration, RONIN nodes are able to share presence and text based communication. The system also allows server-based services to connect with users directly, using RONIN’s architecture to automatically advertise and configure access.
